• The QSC has applied the same Quantum technology for the 4-cylinder versions of this engine.

24-Valve Cylinder Head at four valves per cylinder provides increased power with faster response across the power band. Vertical injectors are centered over the piston for improved combustion and low-end torque. Single-piece head has integrated intake manifold and fuel supply.

fuel system delivers high injection pressures, independent of engine speeds. The result is improved throttle response, low-end torque and fuel economy with reduced emissions.

• The QSC has been designed to run up to 500 hours between scheduled maintenance stops. Long maintenance intervals combined with a simplified design means
lower operating costs.

Low-Maintenance Fuel Filter Assembly - Integrated water separator and water-in-fuel sensor help prevent performance
problems that result from contaminated fuel. A 10-micron filter is designed for filter change intervals of 500 hours – consistent
with oil change intervals.
