Cummins Southern Plains, LLC is a factory authorized technical product training center for Cummins, Onan and Cummins Power Generation. Corporate Training Programs are available for authorized dealers and customers.

Training on our products is geared to prepare our network for the 2007 product line to be launched in October of this year. Training will change from the Virtual College Training (check-the-box) approach to hands-on, back to basics classroom education. Our mission is to provide training that will cover hardware, systems and processes allowing the highest level of quality of each repair using state of the art technology, tools and education on each of our products.

All product training will consist of a computer based prerequisite either through use of the Virtual College programs or Power Gen University site to be completed before class. The technician will attend a course and conclude with an exam to measure application skills. A vast amount of information pertaining to training may be found on our website.

Cummins Southern Plains training staff is dedicated to provide excellence, quality and consistence in our training approach and to help you excel in the technical aspects of your job. Custom (private) Training Classes

Enrollment Procedures

Dealer Certification Requirements
Please contact Renee Smith at the Cummins Southern Plains Training Center to be provided with a list of the necessary certification requirements.

Payment Procedures
• Prepayment by check or purchase order is required with enrollment request, or presented by the student at start of class. VISA/Mastercard and American Express are accepted.
• Prior credit approval is necessary for all company purchase orders.
• Cancellations made less than five (5) working days prior to the class start date will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.
• Refunds will not be granted after class begins.
• If for any reason the training class is canceled, students may apply the tuition towards future training classes, or request a refund

Statement of Policies
Cummins Southern Plains, LLC reserves the right to cancel any scheduled training session. Each class has a minimum number of participants and a maximum number of participants (usually 12). If the minimum number of participants are not registered 30 days prior to class start date, CSPL reserves the right to cancel the class. Please do not make travel arrangements until you receive a confirmation letter. Enrolled participants for a cancelled class will be moved to the next available class unless otherwise instructed.
