Our primary focus is to prepare our network on the Cummins, Cummins Power Generation and Cummins Onan product lines. Training now includes hands-on training which is product specific. All product training will consist of a computer based prerequisite either through use of the Virtual College Libraries or Cummins Learning Center site The technician will attend a class-room type course and conclude his training with an exam to measure applications skills and comprehension.

Custom (private) Training Classes

At CSPL we understand that some of our customers require more specialized training to better suit their training needs. We are pleased to offer customized private training classes that can be modified to suit your training requirements. All such requests for customized training should be forwarded to Kristi Howard. A Customized Training Request form must be completed and emailed to  at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

Dress Code

CSP personnel - Work clothes and safety shoes
Dealer personnel & customers - Jeans or uniforms, should be worn to class and safety shoes. Shorts, sandals and sleeveless shirts are not considered appropriate clothing. Earrings, piercing jewelry and chains are not permitted due to safety issues. Safety glasses should be worn in the hands-on shop area.

Statement of Policies

Cummins Southern Plains, LLC reserves the right to cancel any scheduled training session. Each class has a minimum number of participants and a maximum number of participants (usually 12). If the minimum number of participants are not registered 30 days prior to class start date, CSPL reserves the right to cancel the class. Please do not make travel arrangements until you receive a confirmation letter. Enrolled participants for a cancelled class will be moved to the next available class unless otherwise instructed.
